Overview

This popular and successful course, now in its 6th year, utilises saw-bone practical and case based discussion to teach the basic principles of hip fracture management with expert consultant faculty from around the region.

Target audience: Orthopaedic Core Trainees targeting ST3 interviews (which include saw-bone practicals), Clinical Fellows and F2s.

Practical sessions: Cemented Hemiarthroplasty, Intramedullary Nail and Dynamic Hip Screw (DHS).
