Overview

This two-day course is suitable for research active as well as newcomers to research in dental & oral health. Lecturers and speakers are eminent members of the academic and research community.

Designed to enable candidates to:

  • review the literature and formulate a research question
  • draft a research protocol
  • understand the process of applying for ethical approval
  • learn research methods applicable to clinical studies
  • learn how to formulate a questionnaire
  • learn how to prepare papers for publication
  • learn the basics of statistical analysis of data

The course also carries 10 hours of verifiable CPD.
